Many moons ago I asked if anyone had any knowledge of M.Trutschel who did what I think is a magnificent custom on two LB7's I have.Since we now have a lot of new members/readers I ask again if anyone knows anything about him/her..obviously had a love of LB7's.They are 3 pin LB7's with numbers so customising may have been awhile ago but not at the early 4 pin stage? <They almost feel better in the hand than the Real McCoy LB7's!>
Some nice Schrade stag folders and some Schrade factory embellishing plus for Rusty..Roy Carters small embellishments on the Bowie. Hoo Roo

What a fine collection Larry! The two LB7's are exquisite, I bet they really fit the hand well, marvellous custom work. You see many knives with custom work on the body and blades not so much on the scales, very nice indeed. I have one of the Bowies also and have thought about getting it engraved although never decided on who to get the engraving done by, thanks for posting the pics Larry.

While my collection isn't nearly as nice as yours it does contain
two limited run flat grind drop point bladed LB7's. Nice knives
in their own right.

G'Day Tightwad,They are a nice variation LB7..there's 2 on the left in the group photo above I didn't open.Lets see yours mate.

With many new members appearing over past 6 months I wonder again if anyone has any info whatsoever on the customiser 'M.Trutschel' who was obviously a Schrade <LB7> enthusiast judging by his/her customising prowess.
I would luv to know something about him/her however apart from Google which talked about some inventor last century I can find nothing and dont know where else to look.
Any ideas?? Thanks, Hoo Roo

Larry,
I can't provide you any information, but thought I'd join you in the request for info. I just got this one in with his name on the pile side tang. Beautiful work, to say the least. Just had to show it off.

I saw that on the Bay Dave, great win. Now you have a vested interest in also finding out who the elusive craftsman M.Trutschel is/was. I will be asking questions from time to time as new members join as SOMEONE must know SOMETHING. Hoo Roo
