customizating my sebenza

Hi,
I was wondering if there is any info out there on getting my sebenza customized.
I really want to 'make it my own' with some work on the handle.

Do you want to do the customizing or do you want it done by someone? If you wanted it done by someone else, I would go for something like this. The one in the pic was done by Matt Cucchiara, but I am not sure of he still does things like that. I know that Tom Mayo has also done some customization work on Sebenzas. Once again though, I am not sure if he is interested in doing more.

Have a look at the Just Images thread no. 13 in the Chris Reeves forum for what I did to mine with some wood and an electric drill with disk sanding attachment.

Kevin of Mad Dog Knives has done some great work on Sebenzas in the past, nothing artisitic, bit rather functional- smooting the handle edges, opening up the radius on the opener cut out, etc. Like Mayo, don't know (in fact doubt) that he would do anymore.

There is a gentlemen named Matt Cuchiarra (sp?), used to post here is Pontiaker years ago. Did awesome knife cutomization jobs, especially Ti handled knives. He went on to become a knifemaker in his own right.
