Pains me to do this, but hey, it's all just stuff, right...
This is a Benchmade 520 Presidio that I sent to Chase Axinn to customize. He replaced the scales with new ones made from blue tweed G10 and crossweave carbon fiber bolsters. He also replaced the backspacer with blue tweed G10 and satin-finished the blade.
I've carried it some, but it's cut only tape and mail. In real life, the blue G10 is less saturated/bright than it appears here. When you satin-finish the blade, the butterfly tends to get lighter too, as you can see in the photo. The satin blade looks much nicer than the factory beadblast, especially with scales this pretty. The connection between the carbon fiber and the G10 is amazingly precise.
I have $300 into this one. Would like to get $245 $225 $220 $210 shipped and PayPalled. I will send the original box, bag, and scales/backspacer from Benchmade as well.
The only potential trades I'm considering are a PE Spyderco Ocelot, PE or SE Spyderco R2, PE Caly Jr, other interesting/collectible Spydie, or a Jens Anso folder (or other custom with a round opening hole). Obviously, all but the Anso would be plus $$$, whereas the Anso would probably require some $$$ on my end.
Thanks for looking.
