I just got this beauty back from the great Steve Ketchen. He crafted the C-Tek scale which looks absolutely amazing in person, the pics really don't do it justice, it gives the knife a very cool look and feel. Level of fit and finish on the scale is impeccable. The color is a darker, deeper red in person, the pics make it seem lighter than it really is. C-Tek has a wonderfully smooth yet "grippy" kind of hard rubber like texture to it, it feels very nice. I really wanted to love this knife but I just don't see it getting much pocket time compared to my other blades for whatever reason so I'm letting this one go to someone who can really appreciate it, these Southards truly are a solid knife. Only carried a few times, opened a couple boxes with it. Wouldn't be able to tell it was used or carried at all, still looks brand new with no marks or scratches to the finish. Still has razor sharp factory edge. Solid lock up, no blade play or lock stick. Comes with box and the original black scale and over travel stop.
