It is not ok to link live auctions. I used an old auction (closed due to time limit) for a visual aspect of our conversation on counterfeit Buck knives. I have contacted the seller with hopes that they also did not know these were fakes:jerkit:. I also sent 5 warnings to a certain site by the bay letting them know of the counterfeit/copyright issues with these items. Lets see where this goes, if we tell 5 folks and they tell 5 folks and so on maybe we can save our folks here some counterfeit heartburn. Thank you Desoto for starting this thread.

It was unbelievable how many chinese were selling fakes yesterday when I checked out the site....they all had about 12-15 models an lots of them! I was just completly stunned......so much so, I went found a story I heard friday on my morning news and got this link from Lowell & MA & Derry New Hampshires the RAIDS on FLEA MARKETS which I posted last night here on a few links. Just to see how bad its getting even at weekend FLEA MARKETS.

Does anyone even have a clue is this BUCK 532 knife is a real by David Yellowhorse. A friend is concerned it isn't,
It did come with a certiciate of authenticity. I may be early 90's not sure.

It's pretty strange to see warbird45 still selling 3 of the counterfeits along with a few hundred other native customs, 439 of them have Yellowhorse on them. I would think the Yellowhorse family could influence warbird45 to take them off the market.

It is real; it is a Yellowhorse custom on a Rigid knife.

Oh I thought it was BUCK oops....after I had posted the photo of the knife with his concern that it might be a knock off. my friend found the certificate, thanks for the Info Tin Sue...........I also let me friend know what you said about it being a RIDGID not BUCK, thank you very much!

This sale ended because it was SOLD via buy it now. This seller doesn't care about the mis-leading banner he has set up. Keep that in mind before you plunk down some serious cash to support him. I will look elsewhere in the future, if ever again. To Bad :thumbdn:

While I appreciate him owning up to what happened. How do you not know that is not a knife made from buck.
If he is not the end seller I guess he did no harm other than dressing up a turd.
