I intend to make another Timascus frame.
What do you guys think would look good for scales? Or possibly a pair of take apart scales on it?

tough call. maybe a burl wood or a stag/elk would always be appealing to me.
kinda think I'd like the timascus by itself to be the scales if it can be done?

Thanks for the suggestion. I agree somthing like burl with a similar pattern look to the Timascus would be appealing. The first Timascus 110 I made had no slot, I like it better with scales personally, but it is a lot more work lol

this one is just wonderful. damascus blade and timascus scales. complex, diverse and beautiful all while at the same time simplicity at its finest. I got to say it's my favorite too right now. course you make some great designs and I may change my mind.Thanks for the suggestion. What about instead of a standard size scale, a smaller slot to leave upper and lower bolster about 1/3rd the overall length? Leaving the scale about this size the meteorite is
