A like new Customized Kershaw 1780CB Rake D2 Composite Blade This great one-of-a-kind customized D2 steel beast is shipped 2-day Priority, insured, with tracking.
After the pictures I'm posting some information about this very tough D2 steel Rake model upgrades and specs for those not familiar with this cool looking folder.
A one-of-a-kind, this new in the box Rake has been substantially customized but never carried. I'm calling it used as it is not as it came from the factory. It is much better. The Rake is a heavy duty working man's knife, designed by famous knife maker/designer Tim Galyean, is a SpeedSafe® assisted opening knife from Kershaw. It features a razor sharp resharpened to 36 degrees inclusive D2/Sandvik composite clip point blade with tough, wear-resistant D2 on the highly polished cutting edge and high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel on the spine. The blade grind pattern is very sleek, IMHO. The blade and metal parts have all been acid etched and stone washed for a darker color. The blade has a widened built-in flipper hole for easy opening and a steel liner lock frame. The finished pocket clip is great for tip-up or down carry. This allows it to have a 3.5" premium D2 carbon steel edge while maintaining the rust resistant properties of stainless steel in the remainder of the blade. SpeedSafe assisted opening technology and a flipper that protrudes from the blade allows for very quick and ambidextrous one-handed opening. Locks open securely with a liner lock. The RAKE has textured black G10 handle scales for a great grip and includes an acid etched, stone washed stainless steel pocket clip that can be adjusted for right or left-handed, point up or down carry. This is a 5-Star rated homerun by Kershaw.
