Come on guys and gals..give yourself a Customized LCC Christmas! Heres what Im doing so I can answers everyones question at one time.
We will take any LCC and do the following:
High polish the blade - $50
High Polish the bevels and satin the flats $50
Satin the whole blade- $50
Blades must be either stonewash(preferred) or bead blast. NO black ti as it requires a regrind.
Brush your bolsters to a really kewl looking finish. I love this. $10
Change your scales:$50 (price includes any micarta or g-10) The only extra price will be material cost for something other than micarta or g-10. Such as pearl, wood, stone, bone, abalone, etc.
Or you can get the whole package- finished blade, brushed bolsters, new micarta or g-10 scales for $100. (extra only for scales mentioned above)
We can also anodize your bolsters to any color you want! (the liners and spacers on the manual are NOT titanium..we can only anodize ti parts) This service would be included for free if you want it when you get any of the other work done.
I am doing these knives part time at Reese Weilands house where Im working with him and he agreed that if many people want this, he will help me do the work. Reese is famous for his grinds, automatics (he invented the microtech hawk) and many other knives.
Please contact me regarding your work and I recommend you get your knife to me with a 50% depostit on your work as soon as you can so you have it under the tree!
Turn around time is expected to be 3-4 weeks..but first come first serve. Many will get done quicker.
Remember, that any customizing on your MT may void the warranty from MT. However, we strive to maintain the same tolerances or better than the MT's. No blade play, etc.
