I know this has exchanged hands a few times here, and I am letting it go now. This is an amazing mod, but I am downsizing to knives I carry more routinely.
This is from Vaporstang's sail thread where I bought it:

Glenn's original description: "[This knife] is one of my favorite mods I ever did. It started out as this ABL rigging knife…This knife is dated 1951. I believe it was issue for the Belgian Army. These type of knife weren't highly finished but were made to take abuse. I completely dis-assembled it, made some NS bolsters for it, and did some clean up on the blades and inner-workings. The covers are ivory micarta, with a nice shield. It's much nicer now, not perfect mind you, but a bit more flashy. It's a tank, I think if you had it in your pocket and fell in the water, you'd sink right to the bottom. I really hate to let it go, but this is as good a reason as I can think of...."
This is a very solid and stiff knife. It loosened up a little from me opening and closing it, but it still has very strong pull on all of the blades/spike/opener. I have not carried this, but I have kept it on my computer desk ever since I received it in October 2016. (My only regrets are that I never got around to putting on a worthy lanyard, never got decent pictures myself and never got pictures of it alongside my mint Buck 315 Yachtsman.)
I have carried it once. This is a gorgeous knife, but it is just more than I need at the moment.
I am asking what *I think* I paid, which is Price Drop to 115.00 shipped ConUS
