given recent natural and other disasters, and that there are troops overseas fighting, it seems prudent to have such items stocked and on hand.

perhaps a bit morbid, but also purposeful.

Thats what I told my bro but it still seems kinda strange that there is all this talk about FEMA death camps. Like I said I try not to believe crazy people but it still brings the question of why.

As I recall the theories I read 12 months ago, they were being prepared so Bush could declare martial law, shove all the dissidents in them, and suspend the election. I haven't checked back in to see what nefarious purpose they have now.

I believe he's referring to supposed fema camps (supposedly) set up all around the nation following some national security presidential directive or another. At one point, I had a friend constantly ranting about it so I knew the pertinent directive but have since forgot it. What I do remember is not finding any concrete proof of said camps when researching the directive.

And, after googling just now, Glenn Beck says they are a myth and Alex Jones says Glenn Beck is lame. So... I think I'm just gonna sit right here in the middle on this one. :) Also, if you do a search for fema camps, videos of...amtrak stations... come up. The narrator makes a large point of pointing out the barbed wire. :confused:
 
Like I said its far fetched but its still out there. I haven't researched it any more than just watching the vid's and don't plan to, to me its just a lot of crazy talk but still strange.
 
I first (only) heard of FEMA taking over on an episode of the X-Files.
