"Cute" Knife for Girlfriend

My girl likes basically the same kind of knives as me- big scary-looking tactical fixed blades. Recently, however, she confided that she'd like a "cute" little folder for carrying in her purse. Does anyone have any suggestions in this strange category? I think the Spyderco Cricket fits the bill, but she remarked once that she prefered metal handles (like Spyderco's Co-Pilot) over plastic. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

CRKT Mirage Titanium. Fits the cute and fits functional not to mention fits fun.

Umfaan. I think, for a woman, that would qualify as "cute"...

I recently purchased a NICE little PURPLE MicroTech UDT auto from Mike and Missy at M&M Tactical. It came with a WELL made Concelex neck sheath made by Normark.
The knife has the usual MT quality and the purple anodized frame looks COOOL! The neck sheath works great also. It was a BIG hit with the wife

My girlfriend loves her BM 940 & damascus balisong. She would have preferred a damascus Umfaan, but that was a bit out of reach.

Check out our Mini-Automatics, legal in CA and many others. These are available in many different colored scales and bolster combinations.

Spyderco Dyad Jr. or Mini-Dyad. I forget which it's called. One smallish plain edge blade, one serrated.

How about one of the smaller stainless-handled spyderco knives? The Calypso Jr., the Dragonfly, etc., etc..? Very nice knives, very elegant lines, very, very cute. Also, see if you can get one of the aluminum-handled Crickets, I believe they still exist somewhere.

The purple-handled UDT is also really cute, and the BM42A is just adorable.

Then again, I think the Civilian is "cute", so I might not be a good representative of the female population as a whole.

I'll second the MOD Ladyhawk.

Small damascus or decorated Sebenza.

Also, I think Darrel Ralph makes a small (about 3") Apogee. Can't find a much better lookin' knife than that.

Novadak has it right! If your girlfriend likes the cricket, get the aluminum handled one!! I think they come in carbon fiber too, so if you can't find the metal ones maybe she'll "settle" for that!

I almost got a cricket for my girlfriend, but bought her a Ladybug instead. I'm slowly working her up to a bog 'ol liner lock!

I second RDaneel, CRKT Mirage Ti, small, light...cute.

The small S-2 might be good also.

Since I couldn't tell cute if my life depended on it, i passed the question to my girlfriend and gave her the run of my collection plus some knife catalogs. This is her top 3 list:
- BM850 (rainbow anodizing on bolster = cute)
- BM330 (cute & tiny but hard to open)
- CRKT Mirage Titanium (cute blade)

"Ugg! Yucky" list:
- MT Mini SOCOM
- Kershaw 1402 Talon

I'm thinking of buying mine, either of these two. . .
