I do owe you an apology OldeWolf.... Perhaps it is also my fault for not being able to produce on demand pictures of every make model and style of product available.

Good point, Karda. There seem to be about 50 different models (including some of the less common ones), about 4 main sizes, 2 handle types, 5 handle materials. That would be about 2,000 variations. There's left full view, right full view, left and right handle and blade closeups, close-ups of spine and pommel, and a couple of in-hand photos of each -- giving another factor of 10. That makes 20,000 photos, together with text indicating weight, handle and blade lengths, and the size of the hands in the in-hand photos.

You're going to need a bigger hard drive. And be logged on at all times to deal with requests in a timely manner. Hmm, if you rearrange the letters of "moderatyr" you can spell "martyr." :grumpy:

On the contrary David, I interpreted his apology as him being an employee of Himalayan Imports recognizing the need of full disclosure and accountability that is expected from sellers on this Bladesforum as a standard. In another word, I took it to mean that any new items being sold should have been provided better pictures instead of just a few to judge a quality of a knife upon with a few words about it. You can go to any of the seller's threads and witness the fact that they go out of their way to state what is the conditions of knives so people are aware of what they're buying since it's all on the internet and the buyers has to trust the seller that they're sharing the whole of the information without the need to feel obligated to ask every time due to uncertainty.

That's what I took that part of the apology to be for, bringing HI up to par with other seller's disclosing standards.

You should really take this someplace besides leebrewer's review thread.

No one is obligated to post photos for you, and continuing to crap
in his review thread is not conduct becoming of a HI forum contributor.

Nothing personal.

I just want to add this edit to clear a few things up here.....

My Apology was for mistakenly accusing you of damaging the sheath. Nothing more.
I am not, nor have i ever been employed by Himalayan Imports.
I am a forumite the same as everyone else, first and foremost. I was asked to help moderate this forum by Yangdu as a friend.
It is an unpaid volunteer position, the same as all the moderators here at BFC. She allows me to act on her behalf in regards to some sales, but in reality it is just a friend helping a friend.

Most people take the time in our forum to understand and ask questions about the various fit finish and style types. Most here understand the majority of what we see here are blems for sale priced by quality of item. Auntie is quite fair in her grading and pricing of items for sale, provides clear pictures of items and is easily contacted to answer any question you may have. Himalayan Imports has been doing business this same way in this forum for many years.
