Inspired by examples from the legendary Bruce Bump, I made this in about 22hrs. 16 3/4" overall, 10 3/4" blade, 9" cutting edge. Blade is W1 tool steel, tempered to about 58Rc., handle is Black paper micarta. Barrel is a .36 calibre black powder, smooth bore, just under 4" long, bore is 3 3/8" deep. Hammer has a safety halfcock. Trigger and hammer also serves as hilt as you can see. Handle is DoveTailed into bolsters. Quite a cool piece even if I do say so myself! This is my first one of what may be many more as it was a fun project to make! $500 shipped USPS with tracking and insurance. Thanks for looking!

THIS ITEM IS SOLD

Outstanding !!! Never saw anything like it. Can it be fired? Is the ammo available for it? Thanks.

This gun is illegal in Canada I,m sure. Here in the states it's legal in most states but I,m not sure which ones. It would be illegal for Mykul to build and sell any firearm that takes a rim fire, center fire or even breech loading system without a federal firearms manufacturer license. He can make and sell a muzzleloading gun without regulations assuming it is sold to an adult in a state that allows guns.

I remember Bruce's thread when he made one of these in the how to forum, that thread was as sticky worthy as any I've seen. Nice of you to mention your inspiration.

It is most definitely Illegal in Canada, the barrel is under 4". There might be other laws restricting black powder firearms, but I'm not aware of them.

Very Cool piece though!

Just curious, could this be done like a black powder revolver? where the cylinder was actually built into part of the blade?
