Greetings Everyone,

I deviated from the Viking theme this time, to a more modern group of pirates.

I have just completed a 17" oal (12" blade) cutlass. This is made of 1080, with a careful differential heat treatment. It has a lively hamon, and the handle is made of the most beautiful walnut I have ever seen.

I have made a deal with a luthier supplier, and I am able to get top quality American hardwoods. This wood is stunning in person.

So, a very lively and powerful cutlass, 12" blade, active hamon, blued steel fittings, and beautiful handle. $300.00 . Please pm me if you are interested.

thanks,

Kevin

From past experience I can promise you Kevin's blades are the REAL DEAL !
They are much nicer when you get them than they appear in the picture. If you can imagine a period piece made by a period craftsman who was concerned about real quality then you have some idea about what they are.

This blade has found a new home, with someone who appreciated the irony of a cutlass with Asian fittings. The dreaded Ninja Pirates are alive and well, and well-armed.

back to p-welded seaxes and kindjals.

Thanks for looking,

Kevin
