Been hanging around here for quite a while, but since I was born with one mouth and two ears, I try to use them in that proportion. Keeps me out of trouble for the most part. But I have to break my silence to thank Jeff for helping me obtain a piece I didn't think I'd ever see. Just a few minutes ago, he played internet tag with me in order to help me out, and service like that deserves to be acknowledged. Great guy, great service. Been doing business with him for a few years now, and every transaction has been flawless. Needless to say, I'll be back.

Just placed my first order with them. I had a couple questions so I emailed them, and just like you, we went back and forth for 10 minutes, but each email was promptly responded to. Merely 20 minutes after placing the order, the knife is already in the mail with tracking info sent.

I hadn't used them in a while.

But, someone posted on another forum that they had done some warehouse cleaning and listed some older Spyderco models.

I picked up a blue FRN/ZDP-189 Stretch and a Chaparral.

This is not a new thread but it popped up while I was searching for something else, so I needed to add my comments because Cutlery Shoppe, Jeff Loffer, and everyone working there, have provided me with 20+ years of quality cutlery (and other outdoor equipment) purchases with dependability, good service, and no hassles. I can count on one hand, with fingers to spare, the few times I've put in an order and an item has been back ordered, which they follow up until it is shipped. You can call Customer Service and get Jeff on the phone, who is very knowledgeable and always helpful.

If it's not a quality product they don't carry it, and they stand behind everything they stock. It's like doing business with a good friend who is also very responsible and reliable.

Whenever someone asks that I help them find cutlery or a piece of outdoor equipment that CS doesn't have, I try to talk them out of it and point to a compatible product Jeff carries, because I know they've done the research and I can trust all their product lines and their reliable shipping. They are my purveyor of choice. They're not the biggest, but they're by far the best!

I too have placed dozens of orders with Jeff since 1996. A first class experience over a long span of time.

Jeff and his crew have been great to do business with for over 20 years in my case as well. Absolutely one of the very best vendors I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Very honest decent folks.

Jeff is a good guy. Unlike some dealers, when he's asked to inspect a knife for any QC issues, he'll do it.

Highly recommended.

have to echo others here - the Cutlery Shoppe was one of the few vendors able to overcome an insidious USPS database problem for my home address - which caused my address to come up as 'UNKNOWN' for folks using various commercial mailing/postage systems (have since learned that despite what my county and property tax records and deed say, the dipsticks at the USPS insist on appending an 'N' to the end of my address line)

Just got my Spyderco Sage 3 from Cutlery Shoppe and it's as good as it gets.
Jeff checked the centering for me without cutting open the plastic bag and
delivered with fast shipment. Good stuff.

I've used Cutleryshoppe several times in the last couple years and the prices are phenomenal plus I love that they put dum dums in the package.
