Sorry for taking so long to post.
She had surgery Feb 5. The procedure was supposed to take 3 to 6 hours. It took 8 1/2+ hours. They did lots and lots of cutting. I've made smaller incisions gutting deer! She came out like a true HOGETTE, squealing
Seriously, she came out really well. The docs said they took out all the cancer thay could see. Chemo is in the future, I'm sure though.
They turned her loose this last Saturday. She's getting around the house pretty good. Of course she is plenty sore. Thank goodness for good drugs.
This has been prayers answered.
A great big thanks to everybody for the prayers, smoke, and good thoughts.
Our new target is getting to BLADE this year.

This morning I took her tfor the three week post-surgery check. She's doing well. No major problems, other than healing a 16" incision
She's a real trooper. Handling all this way better than I ever could.
The fact that our Bussekin family is so concerned makes both our days. A true family!!
