Cutting Elk antler?

I have a Ryobi bandsaw (3000 feet per minute) and two 3/8" blades that I bought after the G-10 incident. One blade has 6 TPI for wood and the second is a metal blade with 18 TPI. Which should I use for ripping elk scales?

No idea, but I have had better luck with a regular hand wood saw than a coping saw or hack saw, FWIW.

I would use the 6 tpi blade as the elk will clog up the finer blade and burn. Very stinky!

AND BOY IS IT STINKY! I'd use the hack saw, it's slower, and you have much more control
