Ok, search not working. I got my first sheet of g 10 and cut it on my wood cutting bandsaw. The blade was fairly new, and it almost instantly dulled. Is there a way of cutting the stuff without dulling any blade it comes in contact with?

Thanks.

Thanks, I guess that is what I will be using. I just got some olson 24tpi carbon bandsaw blades. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Slower speed is also a big help. The stuff is abrasive, but its also gummyy and burns easily.

Diamond tile saws are the champion of g10 cutting. Carbon Fiber too!
My cheapo Harbor Freight saw cuts it like a dream....

It's a wet saw....

You too can own one for the price of a decent bi-metal blade or 2.
I bought one 6 months ago, and have never looked back....
Can't praise it enough.

pull up a chair, slap on a bimetal bandsaw blade and be prepared to be bored for a while....G10 is tough on saw blades and takes time to cut!

yep another vote bi metal saw blade on a metal saw
cut a short bit on the wood saw one time and never again you just have to take your time with it

On the recommendation of Warren Thomas, I actually bought the high dollar one for $200 on sale.
It's what he uses, and he cuts more CF and G10 than most of us....
See it HERE.
It cuts G10 and CF like a hot knife through butter...

But for 40 some odd dollars, I'd certainly try the one you linked to.

HF is pretty good about returns. If it doesn't work well, tell 'em it's a POS, and they should take it back.

I cut everything with my metal bandsaw!! last blade cut for 5 months straight before breaking..,not dulling,it just finally snapped on me.cut lots of g-10,CF,steel and even a good bit of TI.this was a cryo treated blade from texasknife,on a standard 64 1/2" bandsaw.
