I recently got a chance to get some of James Todds G-11 and asked a few members how they cut it and figured the more info I have the better. I tried a bandsaw and thats a no-no, so far I have heard tile saw and portabandsaw, anyone else have ideas? Thanks alot for your info,CHarlie

I'm a mason contractor and i cut mine with the diamond brick blade.
You might check at a lumber yard and get one that will fit a table saw
just go slow and let the blade have time enough to clean up the dust.
You could try a carbon tip blade on your steel band saw
or you could find a bricklayer and let him do it for you.
He can make 20 cuts while your thinking about which blade to get.

Thank yall very much for the info, I gotta get me a tilesaw I guess, does it have to be cut wet? or can you cut it dry? Thank you guys very much again!!!

do you already have a tablesaw? you would get more versatility out of a tablesaw with a 7" diamond blade than a tilesaw.

I agree with that, BUT the dust is very dangerous and the wet tile saw eliminates that. Just sharing some information learned by cutting over 15,000 lbs of it. ;)

Aww come on that's nothing the garden hose during operation can't handle!:p But seriously micarta dust really sucks.

I have a little bit of this stuff too. Will a large block kill a blade on a metal cutting bandsaw? It is a 24 tpi bi-metal blade. Thanks.
