Cutting G10

I was just looking to cut some thin G10 handle slabs, but didn't want to dull my tools. Your thread inspired me to try a small diamond wheel with my Dremel Tool. It's just a cheap little wheel that came with a big accessory kit, but it cuts really fast.

Thanks. :)

How would something like this work for cutting G10 on a hobbyist level? Also how much harder is it to cut micarta? Is it possible to cut micarta with basic hand tools?

In Chris Crawfords "Basic Tactical Folders" Allen Elishewitz uses a dimond band saw blade, they come in all sizes but expensive, and then u have the dust.
My vote goes to a wet saw.

Heres a link to the blades

I used a 41/2" grinder w/diamond blade, bad cut lots of dust but didn't ruin a tool or blade. Again wet saw.

As MarkB mentioned, the saw that Allen used really sliced through the stuff.

I use a 18 teeth per inch metal cutting bandsaw blade from Lowes on my Harbor Freight bandsaw, and it seems to work fine.
