Well while I was in Europe over the summer I went and got myself engaged in Santorini, Greece to the love of my life, most beautiful woman in the world and my partner in crime...

Little does she know that it was all just a way for me to get my paws on a new Busse via the wedding budget :D:D:D ;)

Anyway, I've always dreamed about using one of my own big knives to cut our cake (my amazing fiance agrees with me) and, naturally, I cant even begin to think of any knife better than a Busse for the job

With that said, what do you guys think? My faithful BWM, a good 'ol combat grade killa zilla 2 or should I inquire if the custom shop will do a more fancy, traditional and SHINY piece for the job? I'm not really a "custom shop" type of guy when it comes to knives, but I guess there is no occasion better suited than this :)

Congrats Brutha! You need A Silent Knight - you'll understand later :D

Honey, never trust a man with that much chest hair.

Oh wait - nevermind. LOL

I'd go with whatever is your BIGGEST Busse knife. Make it count. ;)

Congrats:thumbup:

Nope, CG is not for a wedding. CS, or whatever Busse you want as long as its satin.

I do like the CS Silient Night suggestions. But make sure its a pattern you really love, since it will be long cherished by the both of you, and maybe passed down for generations.

This! A MOAB would be the perfect cake knife!!

No offense Bro but Rob has proven the MOAB is a cheese knife, so I respectfully submit this sample for the OP's consideration

Seriously - The MOAB is fantastic, but it lacks a bottle opener for the wedding celebration - so what were you thinking ;):D

thanks guys for all the comments and congrats!!!

OK well you've all twisted my arm and CG is OUT ;)

I have to say those SKs are pretty ridiculously amazing looking and may be the way to go... Hard to gauge the size as there aren't too many in hand pics out there!

@RedbeAR15 - what is the length and thickness on the smallest SK in your pic?

With that said, I've been catching up on a summers worth of threads and came across the Battle Pappy (awesome name!) and think this might go right up there with the SK... That thing is just a MONSTER!!!!! Might go really well with a Caskill Mountain wedding :D:D:D

Busse Wedding Cake Knife?

It's been done, at least three times.

First was a special Battle Mistress, way back in the day. I know it changed hands from the original owner. It was offered to me last year, not certain who has it now.

Then David Brown used an AK47 for their big day.

Lastly, Old Physics commisioned a special Busse Custom Shop knife for his daughters wedding.
