My next door neighbor is a knife nut like me. Sunday after the Steeler game he came over and told me he was going to make a tire swing for his 4yo daughter. He got my interest.
He commenced to cut into an old 19 inch tire with his Spyderco Pacific Salt SE. He cut though it like it was butter. OK, it was not as steel belted radial tire. But still this was an impressive display of raw, brutal sharpness.
I should have filmed it. Youtube videos of knives cutting paper now look silly.
I'm not a huge fan of Serrated blades but this serrated Salt did the job.
