You’re a bit premature on that broad brush stoke about members here. BladeForums is an excellent community full of those from all walks of life.

Rules state no deal spotting from non-supporting members or entities. But deals from supporting members are encouraged.

I held my cool on black friday/cyber monday.

It's only a deal to me if it's something I really wanted. I have a list of knives on my short list, and I'm not going to let some sales throw me off point.
 
How do we know if a company is a supporting vendor? List somewhere of those? I see a lot of of ones on the dealer section. I wanted to mention one but do not know if it is a supporter, but others have mentioned the one I was thinking of and have mentioned it. Sorry if this is an easy find, but I have not seen where or who is a supporter list. No ill meant.

That list hasn't been updated since October 16th- maybe because there's nothing to update.
Many of the sellers price match BTW. Your board, your rules, but who loses out in the end by not sharing intel? Our supporters can price match or in some cases cry foul if someone is running amok of the price fixing from Spyderco, Benchmade.
The way it is now is a lose/lose scenario. Raise your hand if you refuse to purchase from someone not on the list if it means you save money.
The biggest irony here is that everyone I mentioned WAS a supporter.
Anyway thanks again for the guys that had my 6 on this and for teaching me about the "ignore" feature. Very useful.

Huh? That reply makes no sense even if it isn't in response to me. I am simply saying I don't purchase knives from anyone but BF supporting businesses with the exception being local Brick and Mortars. That link I see no comments so it also makes no sense.
