This is going to be fun! I'm really looking forward to this event. Thanks again RHK! You guys have certainly been keeping things interesting lately. :)
 
As an non USA knife afficionado, this is pretty much the only possibility I have of getting an xm18 at normal price! So here are a couple of questions.
Once the knife is in the basket, is it safe for a couple of minutes ? or do I have to rush through checkout aswel ?
Also, will they all be 3,5" ? or will there be 3" ?
 
This is basic e-commerce stuff, the only way to secure a knife is to finalize the transaction by paying for it, putting an item in the cart will not secure it. Do you have a couple of minutes??....Nobody knows that. I would assume that hundreds will be logged in ready to order when they go live, there are 50 knives so I would say you had better be swift and precise if you wish to secure one, and have some luck on your side as well. They are all 3.5"

Awww man, all 3.5. I want a 3 slicer. Oh well, back to the waiting game lol

Batches...we don't need to show you no stinkin' batches.:D...in other words, production runs are what they are. It's not possible to please everyone. I only say this because every time production is of 24's people want 3.5 & 3"; when production is 3.5s, requests come for the other sizes and so it goes...on and on...

There's nothing wrong with posting your wants/wishes...I do it too. But last 3" production cycle brought countless requests for 3.5, as did the 24 production cycle. If/when any of them go back into the lineup, they are far easier to find.
 
Good luck to everyone trying for a new knife tomorrow. I may pick up a pen or some accessories. Saving pennies for a blue anodized XM. Kind of a "nothing else will do till I get it" situation.
