Cyclone is awsome

The versatility of the on/off switch interests me. I might get one when I can find the mmoney.....

I'm going to have to score one of these as well , the non serrated of course.

Gullwing , you did a killer mod on yours.

The thing that drew me to the Mini Cyclone ZDP, besides looking cool:cool: was the on/off switch. Recently I deboned mine removing the speedsafe altogther, making it a manual operator. I like Speedsafe but I do question how a LEO may interpret the knife. The knife laws here in Ohio are kind of blurry when it comes to interpretation of switchblades and gravity knifes. As a manual I still find it very nice and I no longer have any issues fine tuning the A/O and keeping the blade centered. the blade is know dead centered, and opens as smoothly as any other folder I own. The next project is to find or make some spacers so I can remove the plastic backspacer.

DaveReb, check out this thread. I know it references CA law, but search for the posts by R.W. Clark. He's considered Kershaw's "Legal Defense Team" when it comes to court cases regarding Kershaw's AO's. He's testified in 20 or so cases (by his own admission) for Kershaw, and his testimony had the defining law in IL changed.

If you have any questions as to the legality of the AO in Ohio, ask him. The man knows his stuff!

Here's those pics I promised about the dremel work I was doing to my Full size Cyclone:
