My Ti Cyclone is a breeze to use, but I thought a little too easy to unlock. I was fearful the lock lug may "over bend", so I put a recessed "stop" on her. You can't see it when the knife is all put together.

Yeah,....on a frame lock i can see where that might prevent some ambitious types from over stressing the lock on the release.

.........on my ZT 0200 it would be unnecessary, because the sturdy G10 scales stop the lock dead flush to itself,........so no overstressing possible.

..nice clean job from what i can tell.

BTW,....i think it's a bit easy to close because of those two holes drilled in the cut out area of the lock. I never like seeing holes drilled there, because of some weakining the lock.

I guess Kershaw thinks for the general use of this knife it's OK,......but my EDC ZT 0200 doesn't have holes drilled there,......and that makes me happy! :D

Gull Wing, that looks great! Very nice job.

I've seen the retainers on this site somewhere...in fact it was on a MC Ti/ZDP...anyone know where I could find two?

Nice mod! Only potential problem I see and its hard to tell from your picture. If you didnt countersink the Torx head it will probably rub on the side of the blade since the washers are pretty thin.

Thank you, works for me.

Jim, the system is recessed, not even close to getting a blade strike.
