Cylume sticks? Good idea?

I also always have a good few traser glowrings on knife sheaths, keys, SAK etc. (Completely freaked out a girlfriend when I dumped my gear on her bedside table & there were three trasers glowing at her outta the darkness! Thank Heavens I left the glow-in-the dark condoms at home! LOL))

I get my Glowrings from Heinnie Haynes in UK, but they only ship to UK, cant send to US or Canada due to "H3" regulations. Just outta curiousity, does anyone know why Glowrings are so "iffy" to transport? No doubt theres "some" radioactivity to them but surely theyre safe?

And ,as they did in this area once , can be tied to a helium baloon and launched . Many who saw them called ploice and reported UFOs !!

stu: I've imported a *few* of em from the netherlands through peit... haven't had a problem bringing them into canada...

sent 2 down south that got there, they pulled my first one though somewhere along the line.

Sounds like Canadas knife laws are as draconian as the UKs! I have a girl/pen friend in Saskatchewan, shes always trotting her sweet little bottom around the wilderness so I sent her a Survival Tin (Oh you old romantic, Stu!), but I took the glowring out coz I feared it might get pinched by customs.

stu: I'm in saskatoon, where about is she?

traveled a good deal of saskatchewan and alberta in my years.
