I'm surprised no one has said anything about this knife yet. It's a real classic and beautifully executed. Good luck with your sale.

Yea me to ,Thanks for your nice comment. This is the second time I have listed this knife and dont know why I still have it, Is it price? material used? craftsmanship? I'm lost, all comments welcome. Thanks

I'm lost too, Jim. Sometimes this place surprises me as well in terms of what sells and what doesn't. But from what I can gather from your photos and description, everything appears to be spot on including your price.

Dont sweat it Jim, I am always surprised what sells here and what doesn't. That's a very clean Loveless for a more than fair price.

Jim: This is a very nicely executed dropped hunter. I'm not surprised by the lack of response - this is a tough time of the year and I see from a lot of the posts that the buyers are wishing for more cash. I personally listed my latest Loveless about five time before I sold it! You do nice work - it'll sell eventually.

Thanks guy's it means alot when other makers comment on your work. I'm not worried about it selling and have never made knifes for the money it has always been for the love of it. I have a 60 hr a week job that takes me out of town alot and dont get much time here on the forums But was just wondering if there was something wrong with this one, I wish I would have done the fittings in stainless and thought maybe that was the hold back on it selling was the brass fittings, just trying to get some feedback on what people are looking for material wise. Thanks again Jim.

Oh and TK, I find it hard to believe that any of your FINE work would last very long on here.......I always look forward to seeing your work...top notch, you set the bar very high for makers like me and I really like trying to reach it..

Jim: Thanks for that.

As an aside, Les Robertson carries my knives - he'll only take certain ones from me that will have a high selling appeal = he calls it the 80% rule in that 80% of the buyers will buy a certain style or features. With that said, Les will not accept any knife from me with brass or nickel silver furniture.......granted, there are those that like brass and nickel silver but you limit your buying base to 20% that looked at it.

Take care,

TK

Very nice knife. I would be offering to buy it, but I strongly prefer flat grinds. Hollow ground is clearly more in line with what you were going for with this style knife and I am sure it will be snapped up by someone soon. Very nicely executed.

Mark

Thanks TK, That is the kind of info I was looking for. Now it doesn't matter if it sells that info is worth the cost of the knife to me..Got to make what people want.

Thanks Mark.
