This is the style knife I grew up with. Everybody and his brother carried one it seems. The basic knife design dates back to around 1834 and is known these days as the Green River "hunter". This one has been modified with a small guard. The 4 1/4"(tip to guard) flatground blade is ground from 1/8" D-2and is 1 1/16"wide. Cryo by D'Holder, distal tapered and mirror polished. Convex edge. 8 3/8" OAL, weighs 5 oz, and balances at the first set of small pins. Nickel Silver guard; as are the pins and lanyard hole liner. The loveless bolts are stainless/ nickel silver. The scales are dyed, stabilized maple burl by Frank Jacobs. Red/black fibre spacers and red liners. The sheath is a snap type from 6/7 oz bark tanned leather. Hand stitched and sealed with beeswax. Prices(USD): $150.00. Paypal accepted, and I pay postage in the lower 48. Contact joelcb@pennswoods.net. Thank you for looking......SOLD....thank you, Dave.
