is it possible to heat treat d2 steel with a torch? if so how.

If you want to bring it to me i will heat treat for you. I see your in okc

you have to have a controlled heat source, in an vacumm furnace or wrapped in stainless foil. d-2 is particular on how it heat treats. by the time you get it hot enough with a torch most of the carbon would be burnt out of the blade.
