D-al

I love the blade and size of this knife!

Is this one yours, Izrafil? I'm on the list for one of these and am anxiously awaiting it. :)

the D-AL is Yuwen's, but I will steal it on occasion :D

It wields very naturally in a utilitarian or fighting role ...
 
Did you order your from TAD? I'm pretty sure a bunch of dealers picked a couple up, but maybe they're hoarding them for personal collections!:p

I didn't order it from TAD. I ordered it from Mr. Dwyer himself at the Timonium MD. Custom Knife show. I saw his protos of the blade there and tried buying them and a couple other "Can't sell" blades they had.

So I did the next best thing (besides swiping it :) ) and got on the list.

What is it with everybody and Strider protos ?!?! :P :D :rolleyes:

I wish even if the dealers were keeping the D-AL's for their own collection or sold the knives already they'd post pictures (HINT HINT!). TAD's got a picture :), but there were several other variations.
 
muwhahahah, this is where the dealers are supposed to pipe up ... or maybe somebody else who got a D-AL at the show :p
 
Triple Aught Design has a picture posted of a D-AL that is double cord wrapped and tiger striped. I would love to have one in that configuration. I wonder what the price is?
