In mid February of 2013, David Johnson (D.C. Johnson), and I agreed on a trade on the CQC-7 for one of my NEW knives.

We both agreed to ship these knives on the 19th of February, and exchange tracking numbers. I never received a tracking number, nor did I receive the knife. I emailed him multiple times since that day... and never got a response. This left me with no choice but to wait it out.

I got my knife back on the first week of March. This dirt bag, was using my knife for those couple of days, and decided to return it. Now I'm left with a used knife and a damaged sheath.

Do not deal with this guy. He's a snake.

Not doubting you, but I would like to see pictures of your knife, before trade and after you got it back. Plus any emails you may have from him say why he sent your knife back.

He appears very active here, perhaps you should ask the Mods to email him this thread and see what he has to say for himself.
 
Excuse me Water i believe it was the other way around. I sent you an email before you shipped telling you the cqc-7 was damaged and asked if you would like another one of my knifes or to call off the trade. you neglected to reply but sent me confirmation. i then asked if you recieved my prior email which was also neglected. I tried several times asking if you wanted me to return to sender or ship a different knife and guess what still no reply. At this point you then said you were reporting me on bladeforums (whyd it take so long huh?) and i replied again telling you i was fed up with your lack of responses and that i was telling revdevil which i did. i have all emails and proof that you were in the wrong. Rev i hope you jump in to set the record straight. Oh and btw i didnt use your knife. all i did was include a piece of paracord so it was easier to remove from sheath. not a single mark was left by me! Your pathetic for lying. Since ive been on this forum the only thing im "guilty of" is telling uk_cats_fan i would buy a xm-18 3 inch scale but didnt. even then i was scammed outta that knife by snowreaper1.

I also would like to see before and after photos and emails. You made strong accusations here and I think 36 hours have passed since your posting and you need to show your hand..

I shipped the knife from my local post office and had Dan the owner inspect it before i shipped. If he wants to tarnish my name i will expose him for the fraud he is. I have all documents as well as witnesses. When i recieved the knife the spine was chipped but i figured it came like that since it was a custom. RevDevil also has copies of all emails and the story. Id like to know which mod Chi or Water or Jon or whatever alias he uses informed since i am "A dirty Dog" who "damaged his knife". I should have taken pics before i sent it back cus he can beat the snot out of it and say i did. Lesson learned i guess

You really need to go reread your emails. Ive sent several and have had no response. Im now getting revdevil involved since your lack of communication has made this a truely repulsive experience. I was being very generous offering you replacements but obviously you didn't even have the decency to check my emails. From this pont on i will send your knife back, because you have proven extremely unreliable in communicating what you want and i see you as a harzard. Also fyi you state this knife has never been used but when i inspected it yesterday its spine and left side had several marks.

Take it easy, man. I understand that you're upset but you are going slightly nuts on a member who joined in 1999 with over 150 positive feedback ratings. I don't have the time to read through all of that, but there very well may be a perfectly logical explanation for all of this.

That being said, how he framed this thread is not the way to go about it, and your reaction isn't the best either.

i appreciate your input but i am pissed and not just about this... I am in a living hell right now and my happiness boosters are turning into problems... I did everything proper until i saw this.. and take the time to read the emails since they are proof hes in the wrong before you criticize me.. Id like too see one un-aswered email he sent me... and his feedback is irrelavant. Snowreaper1 had amazing feedback but that didnt stop him from sending me a empty package robbing me of $700


I apologize if i offended anyone with my response.. i admit it isnt the best way, but im only human... i posted all facts so you guys make your own conclusion. Ive never wronged anyone and never will...

Pissed or not, you need to relax a bit. Instead of going bonkers with rapid fire posts, let the man answer your many, many replies. Hear him out. Consider writing a well thought out reply, rather than several emotional responses. Most people care about their reputation, and will defend it when it's questions. Don't be too impatient.

Posting this thread felt necessary at the very moment. Receiving my knife back in used condition with a damaged sheath really angered me. I deal with everyone fairly and don't expect anything more, and definitely not less.
 
After reading this, I have two questions thus far:

1) Why was D.C.Johnsons half of the trade not sent at the same time as Waters was sent? Why was he left waiting with no knife or tracking number?

2) Why was the knife Water sent used at all until the deal was completed, both parties satisfied and signed off on this deal?

Please look at the dating on the email recordings that Johnson posted up. MANY of his responses do not have the date and time on them. Why would that be? Could be possibly be adding these messages in? Cause I definitely did not receive any of those responses.

And why in the world would I still send my knife over to you if I had known your cqc-7 was damaged? It's not hard to put 1 and 2 together. So please stop your nonsense. Cause I am the one who lost out on this.

And for the guys who want pictures... I'm sorry but I had already made repairs to the sheath, and
the used marks from the knife are hard to capture in photos. But here they are.

Im ready to give revdevil or another mod i trust my email account and password so they can personally see i sent those if that will set the record straight. All my responses are time stamped. Are you willing to do the same? If so lets get on it and put this thread to rest.
 
Water your attachments don't seem to be working. I'll throw my two cents in on this and say I think you're both at a point where hashing this out through this thread isn't productive........it's more just throwing of mud. I hope you're able to work this out to everyone's satisfaction.
