This piece is sold. Thanks!

This is the one I passed around at BladeShow2014. It is a collaboration between designer, Lorien Arnold, and myself. Lorien, approached me with a wicked concept and I tweaked it from there. There will be a full thread with a WIP on this knife, cleverly nicknamed the "LARM"(Lorien Arnold, Rick Marchand:p). The great picture was done by Jim Cooper and shows it off well. I can provide alternate photos by request.

D-Guard "LARM" Bowie
1095(NJSB) hand forged
18" Overall length
12 3/4" Blade, 2 5/8" at widest, etched/cold blue finish and a copper parrying strip
5 1/4" Overall handle length, 4 3/8" grip length
Handle features mild steel D-guard, copper fittings, tapered tang, and peened butt cap. Grip area is leather backed, hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked.
Sheath is hand sewn, tooled and dyed. There is a belt loop, not visible in the picture

Price is $1400, shipped anywhere in North America(Int'l quotes available upon request). Payments can be made through Paypal, certified cheque, money order or wire/electronic/bank transfer.

As always, I offer my "happiness guaranty"... full refund if you are not satisfied.

Thanks
Rick

I absolutely love this knife Rick. It's hard to be original in the Bowie market, but this one certainly is!
Great design by Lorien and craftsmanship by you.

Very nice. I can imagine a Johhny Reb carring that one. Maybe I missed it, what is the wrap on the handle?

Thanks! Good catch on my oversight... the handle is hemp wrapped. The specs have been edited.

Very well done - that's a lot of forging there.

I call that motivation to get more money. :)
Damn fine job; wish I had that kind of cash ready. Looks totally worth it.

For those who dont know, Rick is a good guy too. A pleasure to meet and talk with.
