Hi Folks I wanted to show the photos that Eric from Point Seven took of my knives at ICCE. these knives sold at the show so they are not available. the stag split ring won best damascus and the Moran Memorial Damascus Award the walrus split ring won best fixed blade. I put my new design the pierced ring D in best bowie But Harvey Dean show up with very nice feather penny guard with some very nice engraving on it congrats Harvey well deserved. a bigThanks to all the folks that gave my knives a vote. I did not chime in on some of the other threads about this show I am hoping this show takes off it is a really fun place to have a show and a real great chance to meet new folks. yes the crowd was a little light but folks did sell knives. I believe they will do better on getting folks in the door next year there is a lot on the line for both groups and I believe this will be a very good show in time but we need the collectors to get on board and see what a great time this show can be.


 
Beautifully done! And I like how you keep pushing the technical skill on your guards. :)
 
Ahhhh, I was so fortunate to be able to 'coon finger these before they 'disappeared'....amazing knives and fine photographs.

I love these knives. The split guard is very appealing to me. I want to make knives with this feature, but it's such an obvious rip off that I haven't done it.
 
David, it was great to see you again. All of your knives were awesome! The photos look great. Thanks again for the introduction to Owen; I think it was the highlight of the show for me.

Thanks folks for the kind words I love making these knives and shows like ICCE and Little rock where the makers vote for the best knives well these awards mean the most to me when my peers say this is the best one well it dose not get much better then that. so thank you all very much.

You're an animal, Dave. Your steel is so clean and detailed, I know since I got to coon-finger one in Seattle. Your work has only improved since then!

thanks again folks I am working on another Pierced ringed D this one is in wrought iron I just want to fine tune my process while I can still remember how I did it
