D Lisch Knives Photos by Point Seven

thanks again folks I am working on another Pierced ringed D this one is in wrought iron I just want to fine tune my process while I can still remember how I did it

I love it - I have the same thoughts sometimes. Most of the best things I have made, I only made one of them, or I made it and it was a year or two before it was time to make that again. Like it's always the first time. (NOT that any of the stuff I have made is quite this good).

This is a process that is definitely worth getting automatic. Or as close as possible. You are on a really good roll. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the accolades, too!

I do really like these styles, and the steel.

Amazing knives!

It is incredible even just how well done it is the point where the dropped choil meets the plunges at the ricasso...SNIPER!!!

Are those the light and dark dragons that weren't to be made anymore? Just kidding Dave.
Those are all fantastic and I would be shocked if they were anything less coming from your forge.

Thanks again folks, Jonathan I call this pattern Dragon thunder and yes it is very much like my flying Dragons but there is a difference. With the flying Dragon pattern the light and dark Dragons are flying together as if preparing for battle. With the Dragon thunder there is a 360 degree burst around the Dragon this is done by the Dragon using the fire in the belly to make a sonic boom. They use this to shock there prey or enemy just before going in for the kill to save on their belly fire as we all know once the fire goes out the dragon dies and that is very sad. So it's Dragon thunder and that is how my mind works.
