D2 acceptable for 4-5" bladed Bushcraft knife?

I have a Benchmade Bone Collector in D2 and I use it pretty rough (for a folder) It seems to hold an edge for a long time, but I've learned not to let it get too dull. For me it takes a little while longer to sharpen.
 
All those Dozier knives can't be wrong.;)

Yes, it will be fine, presuming the maker understands how to treat D2 properly.

I've put the Enzo D2 camper order on hold for now.
I recently bought a Queen Mountain-Man lockback in D2, i'm going to play around with that for a while to see what i think of D2.
However i did order a Condor Bushlore to mess around with while i evaluate the D2!
I have high hopes for the Bushlore it looks like a great knife and its inexpensive enough that i will probably mod it a bit as well.
