Hey guys,
I've got a nice little bushcrafter up for sale tonight. It's made with D2 steel taken down to 0.015" before sharpening to give it plenty of steel behind the edge. It's hand sharpened with the KME system and stropped to a razor sharpness. The handles are Lignum Vitae which is one the hardest woods in the world. It finishes incredibly smooth yet stays grippy when wet. It has black and orange G10 liners. It would be just as at home on your hunting trip as well.
Specs:
OAL: 8.75"
Blade: 4" Full flat grind down to 0.015" behind the edge. 800 grit cork belt satin finish.
Steel: 5/32" D2 HT to RC60 by Peter's. 1.25" wide.
Handle: Lignum Vitae (Guaiacum officinale) with black and orange G10 liners, black micarta pins and carbon fiber lanyard tube.
Hand tooled leather sheath included.
$SOLD shipped CONUS. Paypal, checks, money orders accepted. International buyers email me for shipping costs.
Post "I'll take it" here and then PM or email me for payment info.

knife and sheath are both really nice. that ironwood looks like it would feel great in hand. how is the handle finished?(with what i mean)

Ooooh very nice

Great looking knife and under priced imo.

Someone snag this.
Thanks guys!

Thanks! Lignum is so hard and oily on its own it doesn't need anything but sanding to 800 grit and buffing. I put a few thin coats of Danish oil to fill the very few small pores but that's probably not necessary.

Excellent work. I love that wood and the whole profile too.

I agree....the price is pretty good for that whole set up.

yah, i wouldn't either. glad to know about the danish oil, i've used teak oil in the past with acceptable results. also just polishing, but that's easier in turning.

how much did this knife sell for?

just wanted to add to what everyone said - really beautiful knife.
