D2 Clip Point

Just finished this one up. It's the twin of another D2 knife I just sold here. It has Bocote from the same block as the other one that I posted. It's interesting working with natural materials how much variation there can be. This one ended up with each side being unique. It has yellow G10 and natural micarta liners which I think goes well with the Bocote.
OAL: 8.5"
Blade: 4" Satin finish by hand to 400 grit with unsharpened swedge
Steel: 5/32" D-2 HT by Peter's to RC60
Handle: Bocote with yellow G10 and natural micarta liners, pins and lanyard tube.
This one comes with a sheath (not pictured)

Micarta pins can be tricky with wood. You did an excellent job blending them - no chips or gaps. Nice.

Another great looking knife, I have just received the twin to this and can say very, very pleased. The photos didn't do it justice. Nice mix of colour with the yellow liners and bocote on this one.

Another elegant clip point. Am I mistaken or did the previous version have a longer swedge/pointier clip and maybe even a longer blade?

Yes, the previous one was 9" OAL with 4.5" blade. This one is 8.5" OAL and 4 inch blade. There is a slight difference in the blade shape but some may be camera angle.
