Hi guys,
I've got another D2 hunter up for grabs tonight. It's D2 steel that was heat treated by Peter's to RC60. It is satin finished with a 400 grit cork belt. The handle material is some of the nicest Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl I've seen. The liners are natural micarta and it has white G10 pin stripes. The hardware is copper with a copper mosaic in the middle. The sheath is hand tooled and dyed leather.
Specs:
OAL: 9.5"
Blade: 4.5" cutting edge, 1.5" wide. Satin finished with a 400 grit cork belt. 0.09" edge thickness before sharpening to 20 DPS with the KME system.
Steel: 0.156" D2 HT by Peter's to RC60
Handle: Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl, natural micarta liners, white G10 pinstripe, copper pins, lanyard tube and mosaic.
Sheath: 8-9 oz Hand tooled and dyed leather.
$SOLD shipped CONUS, Paypal, checks and money orders accepted. International buyers welcome, shipping extra.

Nice score fogdart! I was considering jumping on this one as well. The 1.5" wide blade and the Peters heat treat got me real excited. Love those broad blades. Let us know how this beauty works for you!

How much would this cost if you made an exact copy of this knife, but in o1 or 1095? But the wood could be any wood type... I'd just like to keep it a little less.
