Thanks Dr I'm a believer in D2 as it has many of the qualities of the top steels without raising the price point

D2 takes longer to grind, doesn't it?

D2 is a bit tough but not as tough as un-annealed 1095 or 52100
Any steel is relatively easy to grind with fresh sharp belts
