I so enjoy putting together a "finished" knife. With the lanyard, the sheath and a really cool piece of ivory, the job of putting this little package together is almost easy. D2 is my favorite steel for carving tools and this knife makes a great EDC.
At the suggestion of one of the forum members, we have begun to hand-rub the blades and bolsters with finer and finer grits. We have been spending more time at the hand-rubbing so the knives look more "finished" and (I think) elegant. I very much appreciate the comments I've gotten from the forum members. The finished product is looking better and better every day. (can you tell that I'm kind of a proud Pappy??? LOL)
Thanks for looking.
Keep Care,
Pappy
