Got these done today and I managed to slip one in for myself :) After all, I gave Brian my D2 knife for the passaround!! :)

3 1/2" blade on these, OD micarta and red liners. Mine is black micarta and red liners. My stock is 3/16" for a beefy feel and the other 2 are 5/32" stock. I like wide stock ground thin somethimes to just add a different feel to the knife as well as make a small knife you know aint gonna break when digging peanut butter out of a jar :)

well, here are my quick pictures. Didnt have time to get the lighting right so look over that.

Those are sweet bro! Is that your companion model or something similar?

Awesome looking knives. From the lighting they really do look like they are ground thin  The D2 on the chef's knife I got from you is an outstanding performer. I've never had a kitchen knife keep an edge for so long :D

They look really great. My hand just wants to hold onto one of those things since they just look so comfy. It would be nice to see a lanyard hole. I really like the looks of them though!

Great looking knives yadda yadda yada...
Seriously though, what grips are those on the 1911?

Just kidding about the yadda yadda yadda, those do look great!:D

I prefer the look of the handles on some of your others. That said, there's something quite unusual about those ones. As a rule I prefer my hand to close into a knife, which is one of the reasons why I find your Companion designs blah blah appealing. I like that much better than bending the curve the other way as a palm swell. With those you have there the swell is quite obvious, but it also seems to have an obvious design evolution from your Companions and 'kicks. Interesting combination. Looks like one you'd have to hold before making a decision. Neat. Happy to hear you've managed to squirrel one away for yourself.

I like the grips on that 45 too. Groovy, but in a classy understated way I find appealing.

Very nice Brian, you know somebody will want the one you made for yourself, don't you?:thumbup:Butch-----did you do the 45 handles?

The colt is one of my daily carry pieces. The grips are made my knifemaker Larry Davidson. He makes grips for Wilson and Springfield :)

I like watching people try to decide between the different models I make. They all have a different sort of apeal I think.

Butch. I wish I had the means to make grips like these!! There $65 a pop and for the amount of effort and materials there actually a good price from Larry Davidson. He also makes knives. I have 7 sets of his grips. There adictive!!

I really like the looks of this one. What are you calling it? I don't see it on your site. I'm looking for more info.

Its basically the personal but a tad different. I don't have all the models on the site. I am not updating it righ now since I am not taking orders untill later on. Ill revamp the site when I can.

I'm really digging those handles! Overall shape is very appealing as well. Not sure how good it would be for really fine carving work, like notching dry wood or the like, with the edge being a bit farther ahead of the grip than I like, but still, I like! :D

very nice brian....those look great man... i like that design a lot.. very practical...

Thanks fellas. Found out 2 of these are headed to Larry Vickers training class next month for a full hand to hand combat training session!

Man, those are sweet. Flat ground? You do really good handles.
