D2 heat treat question

I'm working on a slippie. I've never had one come together so well...it looks like this one might actually walk and talk the way I want, so now I have to ask about HT. Will D2 take a spring temper? If so, what hardness am I shooting for? I'll be sending it out for professional HT, so I guess I just need an Rc. As always, thank you for your help!

I run mine about RC 48. My HT for D2 springs is air quench from 1875 and draw twice at 1100.
