Skinning- utility knife. D2 steel , overall 9 inches with 5 inch cutting edge 1 ½ inches wide 1/16th thick. Handle is stabilized poplar burl wood. Custom rivets look like animal tracks.. Custom cast guard bear head theme, bronze, cast from a barge propeller off the Yukon river. Blade acid etched both sides with bird theme. Comes with custom engraved sheath. $350
Etching is crisp and deep , will never wear off.
Handle has nice sheen and pattern. The Poplar is Alaskan and not a commercially known wood so unique, one of a kind.
Guard is one of my lost wax cast bear patterns.
D2 was double tempered, cryo- deep cold treated. This knives tested 20 pounds in my flex test (took 20 pounds of prying stress and came back to normal) Also 250 strokes on brass rod test (normal factor blades take about 50 strokes. This is blade still cut paper after 250 swipes on the brass rod. So this is a very functional knife that should hold up well in use.
Best way to buy is to go to my web site and purchase using pay pal or contacting me for other methods. This knife is at the bottom of the page. $350, Flat rate shipping
