Sanded to 1200 then taped off the wood and buffed it carefully. The ti is fairly hard.

PS the white on the sheath is dried leather wax. I need to rub it in a bit more

Do you have any other photos of this knife that you can show from other angles? The handle looks to be pretty thick, especially right behind the guard, from that angle.

I'll take it. I thought I should state this again just in case my earlier post was misinterpreted as a wish on my part and not an intention to buy.

I would like to remove my offer to purchase this knife as I have not yet heard a reply from the seller. My interests have gone elsewhere since my last post. This is not to say that this is not one nice knife as I am sure that it is. Now someone else can be the fortunate one to make this purchase.

I'll take it. Yes, I said it again.

I keep coming back to this knife. I think it's been calling to me.

PM will be sent too.

That is a gorgeous knife. I think you will be happy you came back.

Sorry I missed the earlier post I have had some serious family stuff happening and my attention has been elsewhere. I have responded to your PM and will consider the knife sold. Thanks Jim

Excellent buy---superb workmanship as far as I can see, and the sheer amount of effort that went into mirror-finishing that D2 is incredible.

I received this knife today. Fast shipment!

This is one great looking knife. The photos on this thread doesn't do it justice. The wood handle has a great grain/pattern and is formed into a perfect grip. The D2 and Titanium are both shined up nicely! The balance and feel of this knife are just perfect.

Great craftsmanship!

Thanks, Brett

Thank you for the nice complement. Always glad for a happy customer Enjoy.

To shine up D2 you can only go so far with belts then it takes a bunch of sand paper, a good knife vise, sanding block and elbow grease. Jim
