Another vote for D2 - I like it a lot also. I have beat the crap out of a few D2knives and they keep coming back for more.
Only dislike - it does seem to rust quicker that the other steels. I have to look at the blade regularly for spots. I also have to take apart the folders and check around where the blade meets the pivot screw.
IMHO - the extra maintenance is worth it for the toughness of the steel.
