If you are talking about the last millimeter of the tip where it is sharpened, then yes I have. But only on almost every knife I have used at work, including Natives, Manix, E4 in VG-10, E4 in ZDP, Delicas in both of those plus AUS8, etc.
If you are talking about more serious damage such as snapping off the last quarter inch or more, no. At least not since I figured out the difference between a crowbar, a screwdriver a cold chisel and a knife, and realized that they are not interchangeable
I am from the school that broken knife tips are the sign of 'knife abusers' (large breaks specifically). I carry an Atwood PryBaby with me for my prying needs. http://www.phlaunt.com/atwoodknives/

Nope. But I was unlucky enough to butterfinger my Para last week.... Guess how it landed on that oh so smooth and rock hard concrete I was standing on... :*(
Though, it was a slight chip on the tip...
I happend to be at work at the time with some to spare so I pulled a benchstone from my box that I USUALLY use to lap the face of my nozzles off (die casting machines, google Techmire)... I threw it in the vice and went to town. Its got an even convex bevel on it now. I spent a good eight hours getting it just perfect and bringing the tip back from the dead. Im still rather proud of myself. Now, the day I drop my SE E4 and chip that tip... Im screwed, its going to go back to Golden. I don't trust myself with SE at all. Lol.
