D7 contacted me about purchasing a couple of folders I put up for sale a while back. I took the knives in a padded envelope to my Mail Boxes Etc. on the 13th, which means they probably went out on the 14th. He sent his money extremely promptly, and though the knives have not yet arrived -- and I stupidly neglected to get a tracking number -- he has been extremely patient about the matter. (I'm hoping the delay -- more than a week to get from NY to OH -- is due to the Christmas rush and the general slowdown in post-anthrax USPS, but I'm becoming concerned.)

Here's to you, D7, for being a great customer. I only wish I as a seller had matched your style.

That deeply touched my heart. *cough* *cough*bolony.:D

Really though, this is something we all should learn from.

Never send goods during the holidays, always put it in a nice pretty little box, and NEVER EVER send items uninsured and unmarked.

D7-TH one to BUY the same knives in ONE WEEK:D :p ONLY KIDDING RAZ....BOTH of you guys are AWESOME and HONEST FORMITES!!!! I would "DEAL"[OH NO THAT WORD AGAIN] with either of you ANYTIME!!!...wolf

Now if we can just get him to quit beating himself up. :D
(D7 that is).

Mom said nothing yet has come in the mail for me. :(

I'm going home tonight.
Once Im there, I'll check out the local post office to see if the knives got held up in there.

If they not there, just send the money back.

There have been some other posts regarding packages much delayed or lost over the holiday season, so I'm not surprised. D7, I'll go to the bank and mail box service on Monday to obtain a money order for you. And since I neglected to make arrangements to track the package, if it ever does arrive by some miracle, you can keep the knives, free of charge.

Today I shipped Mike a money order for the amount he sent me, plus ten dollars for the delay and aggravation. It's an overnight package and should reach him by Wednesday. I could complain some more about how the USPS screwed us both, but really I just feel bad that he never got the knives he was expecting, and it's my own fault for not securing proper tracking for the package.
