D7reamers - poor communication, slow to respond

OK, I hate to do this but I feel it should be done.

D7reamers signed up for the salsa passaround, I almost skipped him initally because it took so long for him to send his address initially on signup.

I tried to confirm his info a few weeks before his turn on the salsa and I did get a note, but again was very delayed.

He now has had the Salsa quite a bit over time and my emails are so far unanswered. I found the phone number on the web so I'll probably call tomorrow.

I still confident that I'll get the Salsa back, but I don't like the poor communication and delays.

FYI, I left a message at the number, it was some kind of message forwarding service.

If I don't hear from him, I'll follow up next week with a certified letter, Spark, and etc.

Very dissapointing Dave....I hope that this doesn't sour you on the idea of the pass-around....

Naw, I think passarounds are still cool and a good idea. I must say though, that the next time my instinct says "something is squirelly" I'm going to listen more.
 
Well, things are looking up a bit, I called this afternoon and got to talk to a real person. Though they said the weren't D7.

Anyway it was supposedly sent, though I don't have
a delivery confirmation number. I'm to call back and talk to him when he's home.
 
About a month ago I remember reading some posts by D7 that mentioned he was having some emotional and health problems. About a week after that he posted that hit his head and was having problems with headaches and concentrating. Don't know if this could be the reason for the poor communication, but it might explain things.
 
Everytime Dave send me another passaround knife I have some emotional problems ;)

I´m sure he doesn´t keep it intentionally. Keith might have a point there.

Dave, I can understand that you´re pissed, but sometimes things just don´t work out the way you want ´em to. Give him a bit more time, I´m sure he´s got a reason, although of course I also wouldn´t be pleased with the current situation if I were you.
 
Update:

Got the Salsa back, thanks. Also I wasn't really to the pissed stage, just the somewhat annoyed. :p
