While showing this to the guys down at my HT/Supply house, I noticed an uncanny similarity between this knife's profile, and their resident mascots. I don't always name my patterns but in this case I thought it was fitting.
I rarely do tacticals/fighters, except on commission. That doesn't mean I don't still like them. I'm going to try and offer something like this more often for the less traditional blade oriented crowd. This is the first offering of this new pattern.
This is not a small knife. The pictures are deceiving. It is made to work in multiple grips, with or without gloves, large hands or small. Medium sized hands and below can get a full four finger grip on the section behind the choil. My hands are medium large, I still can but it is tight.
CTS-XHP @61, .158" thick, hollow ground w/slightly convex bevel, shaving sharp
Unsharpened hollow ground swedge and hand cut jimping, slightly softened for comfort
5.5" edge length, 10.75" OAL, 8.4oz
Black G10 w/416ss hardware, .25" id lanyard tubes
Butt slightly chamfered into glassbreaker point
